FlipScan ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we use it.
When you use FlipScan, we collect:
Account data: Your Apple ID identifier, name, and email address (provided via Apple Sign-In). We do not receive or store your Apple password.
Watchlist data: Search terms, price limits, and margin preferences you configure.
Deal data: Listings found by our scanner matching your criteria, including title, price, platform, and link.
Push notification token: Your device token to send you deal alerts.
We use your data exclusively to provide the FlipScan service: scanning marketplaces, calculating profits, and sending you notifications about new deals. We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties.
Your data is stored securely on servers hosted by Railway (railway.app) within their infrastructure. Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage.
FlipScan interacts with Marktplaats and Vinted to search for listings. We do not share your personal information with these platforms. We use Expo Push Notification service to deliver alerts to your device.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account and data by contacting us at the email below.
FlipScan is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.
